Assessment Methods - Continuous Assessment (40%)

• Writing Assignments: Essays, reports, or letters evaluated based on coherence, grammar, and vocabulary. - Midterm Assessment (20%)
• A comprehensive evaluation in Week 12 or Week 16, covering all skills.
• Components:
o Reading: Analyze a complex passage with multiple-choice and short-answer questions.
o Writing: A 250-word essay and a formal letter or report.
o Listening: Note-taking from a lecture or dialogue.
o Speaking: A 10-minute oral exam including discussion and situational role-play. - Project Work (10%)
• Students will complete a research-based project, presenting their findings through:
o A 5-10 minute oral presentation.
o A written report of 500-700 words. - Mock Tests and Final Exams (30%)
• Mock Exams: Conducted every 6 weeks to simulate real-world scenarios and assess progress.
o Focus: Writing tasks, timed reading comprehension, and speaking fluency.
• Final Exam: Conducted in Week 25 or Week 32.
o Comprehensive coverage of all language skills.
o Scoring aligned with CEFR B2 descriptors.
